Air defense units shot down five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Dnipropetrovsk region. They were launched by Russian troops on Wednesday evening, December 28.
This was reported by the Air Command "East" of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Air defense is replenishing the account. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, units of the "East" Air Command destroyed five enemy drones," the statement reads.
The military added that the downed UAVs are probably Iranian Shahed-136 or Shahed-131 kamikaze drones.
