The Moldovan prosecutor's office has opened a criminal case to check security measures at the Chisinau airport, where a shooting occurred on June 30 and two people were killed.
This is stated in the message of the General Prosecutor's Office of Moldova.
The criminal case was opened on the fact of non-performance or improper performance of their duties by persons involved in ensuring the safety of persons at Chisinau International Airport.
The investigation will be conducted by the Chisinau Prosecutor's Office, and the public is promised to be promptly informed about developments that have a significant public impact, if this information does not affect the criminal prosecution.
