Anakonda-23 military exercises to be held in Poland

On Monday, April 17, preparations for one of the largest military exercises, Anakonda-23, begin in Poland.

This was announced by Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak.

According to him, almost 13 thousand military personnel of the Armed Forces of Poland and NATO member states and partners of the Alliance will take part in the exercises.

"Preparations and redeployment of troops to the active part of Anakonda-23, the ninth largest cyclic exercise involving almost thirteen thousand soldiers of the Polish army, as well as the armies of NATO member states and partners, have begun in eastern and northern Poland," Blaszczak wrote.

Exercise Anakonda is the largest exercise of the Polish Armed Forces, which tests the ability of key command bodies of the Polish Army to cooperate with the system and selected elements of NATO command structures.
