Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Kroo has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, he made the announcement in The Hague at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
"Our task is to help Ukraine get rid of the illegal occupation, the same as our countries (Belgium and the Netherlands - ed.) experienced during World War II. That is why the Belgian government is preparing a new package of military assistance to Ukraine," de Kroo said.
"As you know, there may be practical obstacles with these aid packages, but I can assure you that there is no doubt in the hearts and minds of the Belgians that we must continue to support Ukraine," the prime minister added.
