According to The Guardian, Britain has already decided to allow Ukraine to use Storm Shadow cruise missiles against targets in Russia. This is not likely to be announced on Friday at a meeting between British Prime Minister Keira Starmer and US President Joe Biden in Washington.

According to the newspaper, the joint visit of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lammy to Kyiv would probably not have taken place if there had been no positive decision on Storm Shadow.

Most likely, a public statement about long-range missiles in Kyiv would be considered too provocative. It is likely that there will still be restrictions around Ukraine's use of missiles with a range of more than 300 kilometers to avoid reckless or unnecessary attacks.
