Britain to announce decision to hand over tanks to Ukraine next week

The British government is expected to officially announce on Monday its decision to transfer the Challenger 2 battle tanks to Ukraine.
This was reported by The Guardian citing sources in Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, Ukraine is confident that Britain will soon announce its plans to send about 10 Challenger 2 tanks, which it hopes will help Germany finally allow the re-export of its Leopard 2 tanks.
It is noted that Britain has already decided in favor of this step, while the pressure on Berlin is growing on the eve of next Friday's meeting of Western defense ministers in the Ramstein format.
