A Canadian Senate committee has approved the bill on ratification of the updated free trade agreement between Canada and Ukraine. It received support without any changes. This is reported by Ukrinform.
After that, the bill will be submitted for final approval by the full Senate during the next plenary week, which begins on March 19. Since the bill had previously gone through a three-stage path in the House of Commons, after the final approval by the Senate, it will remain to get the signature of the governor-general, the official representative of King Charles II, to enter into force.
