President of the European Council Charles Michel is shocked by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam and promises to bring Russia to justice.
Michel wrote about this on Twitter.
"I am shocked by the unprecedented attack on the New Kakhovka dam.
The destruction of civilian infrastructure clearly qualifies as a war crime - and we will bring Russia and its puppets to justice," Michel wrote on Twitter.
He promised to raise this issue at the June EU summit. Michel also offered more aid to the flooded areas.
"My thoughts are with all the families in Ukraine affected by this disaster," Michel said.
