That night, the Ukrainian military destroyed 13 drones launched by Russian troops, including 12 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published this information on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that on the night of March 27, the Russian aggressor attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 attack drones and guided aerial bombs.
"The Shahed attack was carried out from the north and southeast. The occupiers' Su-35 fighters took off from the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region and attacked the Kherson region with two guided aerial bombs. In total, the enemy used 13 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones, one Granat-4 reconnaissance UAV and two KABs," the statement said.
The forces and means of the Air Force and air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 13 air targets: 12 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs and one Garnet-4 reconnaissance UAV.
As reported, the air defense forces detected and destroyed all the kamikaze drones used by Russian aggressors to attack Kyiv.
