During the day, Russian troops shelled the border of the Sumy region 27 times, and a person was injured in one of the communities.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reports this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"During the day, the Russians carried out 27 shelling of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region. 157 explosions were recorded," the message reads.

Yunakivska, Khotynska, Bilopolska, Vorozhbyanska, Krasnopilska, Velikopysarivska, Shalyginska, Seredino-Budska, Znob-Novgorodska, Druzhbivska communities came under fire.

The Russians hit the territory of the Vorozhba community with artillery, and 5 explosions rang out. As a result of the shelling, one person was injured. The warehouses of the production enterprise also caught fire.

Enemy troops also shelled the territory of the Znob-Novgorodska (17 explosions), Shalyginska (2 explosions), ️Krasnopilska (16 explosions), and Seredyno-Budska (7 explosions) communities with barrel artillery. Residents of the last two communities also suffered from mortar shelling: 19 explosions rang out in the Krasnopilska, and 6 enemy mines exploded on the territory of the Seredino-Budska.

In addition, mortar shelling was recorded in the Khotynska (14 explosions), Bilopolska (13 explosions), and Velikopysarivska (12 explosions) communities.

The Russians shelled the territory of the Druzhbiv community with multiple rocket launchers (19 explosions).

The Yunakiv community was hit by an unmanned aerial vehicle (2 explosions), an anti-aircraft fire (8 explosions), a mortar (6 explosions), artillery fire (10 explosions), and a Lancet-type unmanned aerial vehicle (1 explosion).
