Eight children returned to Ukraine from occupation and Russia

Eight children, four girls and four boys, aged 8 to 18, were returned to Ukraine from Russia and the temporarily occupied territories with the assistance of Qatar.

Direct speech: "Today, on St. Nicholas Day, the team of our Office is welcoming four girls and four boys to their native Ukrainian land. We managed to do this thanks to joint work with the State of Qatar, which for the second time joins the process of returning deported children and those who ended up in the TOT."

Details: Lubinets emphasized that each of our children is important to our country, so the returns are taking place both from Russia and from the temporarily occupied territories.

"A pre-Christmas miracle has truly happened for these children today - they will meet and hug their relatives in their homeland," the ombudsman emphasized.
