Estonia has said that the Russian army is no longer at the same level of equipment as it was at the beginning of the war against Ukraine.

This was stated by the deputy chief of staff of the Estonian division for operational work, Colonel Janno Märk, ERR reported.

According to him, Russia mobilizes an average of 30,000 people a month for a year and a half.

"These forces are certainly not at the same level of training and equipment as at the beginning of the war. If you look at the manpower, it appears that Russian troops are capable of maintaining the current pace of the offensive and could possibly launch an offensive in a new direction. But it is quite difficult to assess the likelihood of this," Märk said.
