Explosions occurred at the Belarusian airfield Machulishchi

According to local residents, at least two explosions at the airfield near Minsk occurred between 8 and 9:30 am. After that, traffic police stopped and checked cars in the area. Later, MAZ trucks were spotted moving towards the airport.

The monitoring group Belaruski Gayun reports that the explosions may have caused some damage to the Russian A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft.

"We are talking about damage to the board by an unidentified object that was dropped from a height," the report says.

Meanwhile, the BYPOL initiative reports that the front and center of the aircraft, the radar antenna, and avionics were damaged.

"The plane has been seriously damaged, and it will definitely not fly anywhere. The incident occurred when snowplows were working near the plane... Belarusian partisans are consistent in driving the fascists out of their land," the initiative's representatives noted.
