Finland does not rule out the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine in the future. But there is no need for this now.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine regarding Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen in an interview with the Financial Times.
According to the foreign minister, French President Emmanuel Macron did the right thing when he made Russia think about what the "red lines" in the West's support for Ukraine might be.
"Now is not the time to send troops, and we don't even want to discuss it at this stage. But in the long run, of course, we shouldn't rule anything out," Valtonen said.
Are you expecting Russian troops on your territory? Then it will be too late to send troops to Ukraine.
