"I will propose putting forward a sanctions regime against those who support a regime of disinformation," Sejourne said during a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The French minister did not disclose any further details.

As a reminder, Russians are actively trying to spread their disinformation in Europe. In particular, it is related to the war against Ukraine.

On December 6, the Center for Countering Disinformation reported that Russia was preparing a disinformation campaign against Ukraine's top leadership and help for Ukraine. The enemy wanted to publish fakes in foreign media.
