Nov 15, 2022

Germany will set up a service center in Slovakia to maintain and repair weapons, that it supplied to Ukraine.

This was reported by Reuters.

"We have reached an agreement, and work can start immediately so that all the equipment which has been supplied (to Kyiv) can be repaired after coming out of battle," German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht told reporters.

In addition, according to her, by June Berlin plans to train about 5 thousand Ukrainian militaries in Germany as part of the EU training mission.

As a reminder, earlier Germany handed over to the AFU an additional batch of missiles for the IRIS-T air defense system. It also included Dingo armored vehicles.

In addition, Germany will provide Ukraine with 1 billion euros of aid for cyberspace security.
