The Hungarian Cabinet of Ministers will consider Sweden's application for NATO membership this week.
This was reported by ATV TV channel, citing unnamed government officials.
It is noted that the Hungarian government will meet for a three-day session, where it can agree on the date of the parliamentary vote on the ratification of Sweden's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that Prime Minister Viktor Orban is coordinating his actions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to unblock the Scandinavian country's membership in NATO.
