In a year of war, Russia launched 5000 missile strikes against Ukraine

Since February 2022, Russia has carried out 5,000 missile, 3,500 air strikes and 1,100 drone strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
This was stated by the first secretary of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna Danylo Kubay, Ukrinform reports.
"In total, since the beginning of the war, the Russian federation has carried out almost 5 thousand missile strikes, almost 3,500 air strikes and almost 1,100 drone strikes. Without any military sense, Russian troops continue to implement a strategy of senseless destruction, turning entire cities into ruins and killing innocent civilians," he said.
The diplomat noted that 8,231 civilians have been killed and 13,734 wounded as a result of the criminal actions of the Russian Federation since the full-scale invasion began.
