In Luhansk region, invaders cut off mobile communication and install payphones

This was stated by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military District Administration Artem Lysohor, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing his post on Telegram.

"In the towns and villages occupied in 2022 near the front line, Russians have long since cut off mobile communications. The alternative is payphones, which they install on the streets of the settlements," he said.

The so-called "ministry of lPR" is responsible for installing payphones in the settlements.

Lysogor noted that 27 such devices have already started working in Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Kreminna and Syrotyne.

"There is one for several thousand people. They can be used to call numbers within the same settlement and try to call emergency services," he added.
