Israel struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in response to the shelling

The Israel Defense Forces said it struck a Hezbollah target in southern Lebanon with a fighter jet, helicopter gunship and artillery in response to rocket fire into northern Israel on Friday.
This is reported by the Times of Israel, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, the aircraft struck a Hezbollah cell that was preparing to launch an attack near the northern community of Malkiya, the IDF added.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for several attacks on Israel today and claimed the death of one of its members, possibly as a result of an IDF strike.
