Israel warned France of the threat of a terrorist attack from Iran

Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz warned in a letter to his French counterpart Stephane Séjourne about the possibility of an Iranian-inspired terrorist attack during the Olympic Games in Paris.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, the text of the letter dated July 25 was quoted by French media, including Le Figaro.
In the letter, Katz told his French counterpart about the potential threat of terrorist attacks against Israeli athletes and tourists by “Iranian terrorist groups and other terrorist organizations” during the Paris Olympics.
“Some are seeking to harm the celebration of this joyous event,” the letter reads. No other details about the attacks were given.
