Latvia sends modular houses for Ukraine

Sep 19, 2023

Latvia will deliver 12 modular houses to Ukraine by the end of the year, two of which are scheduled to be shipped this week.

This is reported by LSM.

In Chernihiv, the houses will go to families who lost their homes because of the war.

According to the CMB Housing Factory, which produces modular houses, almost all efforts are now focused on the project for Ukraine - 12 houses, each with an area of 55 square meters.

Each house has a kitchen, a bathroom, and bedrooms, and an air-to-air heat pump that can work for heating in winter and air conditioning in summer.

The company's team will also travel to Chernihiv with the first modular house to assemble the house on-site and teach Ukrainian colleagues how to assemble it.
