Lithuania receives additional Javelin missiles worth $7 million

Additional missiles for the Javelin anti-tank missile system purchased for $7 million have arrived in Lithuania.
This was announced by the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, Yevropeiska Pravda reports.
The ministry said that a batch of Javelin anti-tank missiles worth $7 million had arrived in Lithuania from the United States.
“This purchase significantly contributes to strengthening Lithuania's defense capabilities and improving the combat capability of the Lithuanian army in the long term. This is a timely step that is a response to the geopolitical situation,” said Defense Minister Laurinas Kasciunas.
