Alexander Azarov, the founder of the initiative of former Belarusian law enforcement officers BYPOL, told Channel 24. He emphasized that a joint headquarters and grouping of Russia and Belarus have been created. But it is led and ordered by Russians.

Belarusians do not want to fight with Ukraine

That is why Alexander Lukashenko does not influence the Belarusian army. And if Vladimir Putin needs it, he will give the order and Belarusians will go to fight in Ukraine.

So far, Putin most likely does not need this, so it is not happening,

- the oppositionist suggested.

However, there is another factor that hinders Belarus' entry into the war in Ukraine. After all, the Belarusian army is very poorly trained.

In addition, Belarusians do not want to fight with Ukraine. They do not see Ukrainians as enemies. That's why Putin is in no hurry to give such an order because he doesn't know how Belarusians will behave.

Belarusians will go to war if they are ordered to. But what they will do is a big question,

- Azarov noted.

That is why Putin is now trying to "squeeze" everything he can out of Lukashenko: ammunition, equipment, military training, etc. And so far, this is enough for him.

"However, when the Russian army is on the verge of collapse, he can give an order and drag Belarus into a war. And this could be a disaster for both Lukashenko and Putin," he emphasized.
