"Do not believe anyone that we want to fight. We are preparing for war; I am speaking frankly about this. 'If you want peace, prepare for war' was not my idea. This is a very correct statement," Lukashenko said.

According to him, Belarus is preparing the relevant units. Among other things, various types of weapons and equipment are being supplied.

He added that criticism from "unfriendly countries" means that Belarus is allegedly "doing everything right". He also emphasized that his country is not threatened by anyone or anything.

"We don't need to threaten anyone. We do not want someone else's land. God willing, we will cultivate this one," Lukashenko said.

As a reminder, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine, including from the territory of Belarus. At the same time, the enemy captured parts of the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. Later, Ukrainian soldiers regained the territory.

In particular, during the war, the Russians used Belarus to launch attacks Ukraine.
