The news of Anusauskas' visit to Kharkiv became known after it was over - the Lithuanian minister spoke about the meetings in the city late on Tuesday night.

"I am always glad to see my friend Oleksiy Reznikov. He knows that Lithuania and Ukraine are together for victory," Anusauskas added.

The Ukrainian Defense Minister said that he and his Lithuanian counterpart visited Kharkiv and its suburbs.

"Ukraine's second-largest city is located only 40 kilometers from the border with the terrorist state. It lives under shelling. With friends like Lithuania, we will restore peace and rebuild our cities," Reznikov wrote.
