Minister of Defense of Ukraine tells about meeting with Stoltenberg

During his visit to Brussels, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
He announced this on his Twitter account (X).
Rustem Umerov said that he thanked the NATO Secretary General for his leadership and coordination of NATO member states' actions for long-term support of Ukraine.
According to him, they discussed the current situation at the front and Ukraine's urgent needs in the winter.
"The Ministry of Defense is working to ensure the compatibility of the Armed Forces with NATO. Ukraine's accession to NATO is inevitable. Our country chose this path long ago, and now we are working on practical steps to get closer to NATO membership," Umerov said.
