Russian mobilized soldiers from Irkutsk have appealed to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin three times to be transferred from the front line to the territorial defense, for which they were sent to storm Avdiivka.

According to the publication People of Baikal, citing relatives of the soldiers, the mobilized soldiers from the 1439th regiment recorded appeals in early and late February to Putin and local governor Igor Kobzeyev.

They complained about the "lawless and criminal orders of the command," which formed them into assault units and sent them "to slaughter." The third appeal was written by their wives and submitted to the military prosecutor's office.

In particular, they noted that the soldiers were transferred to the subordination of the "DPR" militants, who formed assault groups from them.

At the end of February, Kobzeyev even promised that he would take the situation under his personal control and the soldiers would be transferred to a new place of service, but nothing happened.

"In general, nothing has changed, although we were very hopeful," Irkutsk mobilized soldiers said the day before they were sent to storm the city.
