The government includes representatives of Serbian radical and pro-Russian parties: “New Serbian Democracy, the Democratic People's Party, and the pro-Western Bosnian Party.

The coalition remained comprised of the Serbian People's Party (SNP), representatives of Albanian parties, the centrist Democrats, and the Movement for Europe Now (PES), led by Prime Minister Milojko Spajic.

Pro-Russian parties received two deputy prime ministerial and three ministerial positions, while Bosnians received one deputy prime ministerial and five ministerial positions.

More than 50 MPs supported the Prime Minister's proposals to reformat the government.

Almost all MPs from the opposition parties, including the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the Public Movement URA (GP URA), the Social Democrats (SD), and the Croatian Civic Initiative (HGI), did not participate in the vote.

Prime Minister Spajic expects that the changes in the government will help improve the welfare of citizens and accelerate Montenegro's movement towards EU membership.

After the renewal, Montenegro's government consists of a prime minister, 24 ministers and seven deputy prime ministers, five of whom hold only the position of deputy prime minister and two of whom combine the positions of deputy prime minister and minister.
