Monument to Hero of Ukraine Matsiyevsky unveiled in Kyiv

On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a monument to the Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Matsiyevsky was unveiled in Kyiv.

Details: The monument was erected on the territory of the National Historical and Architectural Museum "Kyiv Fortress".
The opening was attended by the relatives of the fallen hero: mother Paraska Matsiyevska-Demchuk and wife Yulia Matsiyevska.
The authors of the monument said that they had been working on the project for more than two months. To create an authentic sculpture, they used plasticine, clay, silicone, and computer technology.
Sculptor Tsos noted that it was important for them to convey the look of the fallen hero.
