Most Russians have moved to Finland in the last 30 years

Last year, Finland registered about 6,000 moves from Russia, the highest figure in the last 30 years.
This is reported by the Finnish broadcaster Yle.
In total, in 2022, a record number of people moved to Finland: almost 50 thousand. Before that, the annual figures were 29-36 thousand. At the same time, about 6 thousand moves were recorded from Russia.
In addition to Russia, the most common countries to move to Finland are Sweden, India, and Estonia.
