NATO member states will discuss the issue of providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said at a press conference following a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission, UNN reports.
"I discussed F-16 fighters at some bilateral meetings I had here in Brussels. The discussion consisted of two blocks. First, we dispelled some of the arguments of those who say that providing Ukraine with Western aircraft is too long, too complicated, and almost impossible from a practical point of view. Secondly, there are no decisions, but I have received assurances today that given the information I have provided about a much higher readiness to operate these aircraft than some believe, this will be discussed in the capitals with the political leadership of these countries. So, I will say it again, it will happen, but it will take time. But it will come naturally through our joint efforts," the minister said.
