Norway has transferred five military ambulance buses to Ukraine after Kyiv requested international assistance through the NATO Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC).
This was reported by the press service of the Alliance, writes European Pravda.
The donation, worth three million euros, was coordinated by EADRCC on the basis of a funding agreement with Norway.
The center identified the need for ambulance buses and facilitated the delivery of this medical care to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
Speaking Tuesday after a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Bucharest, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the Alliance would continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary.
