Occupiers destroyed the building of Zaporizhzhia International Airport

On May 25, Russian army destroyed the airport terminal in Zaporizhzhia with rocket fire. A pre-trial investigation into this fact has been initiated, the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
“According to the investigation, on May 25, 2024, at about 16:00, Russian army servicemen fired at a civilian infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia. As a result of an enemy missile hit, the airport terminal building was destroyed,” the statement said.
The Zaporizhzhia regional prosecutor's office opened an investigation under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war.
The Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine clarified that the enemy used an X-59 guided missile to strike the terminal.
“The terminal was damaged, no one was injured,” the statement said.-
