"Russian troops continue to terrorize Kherson after it was liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Every day the city is shelled with rocket and cannon artillery. Today, on December 23, the occupants struck the city using phosphorus ammunition," the statement reads.

The Center reminded that the use of phosphorus bombs and other shells with white phosphorus near and inside populated areas is prohibited by the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of War Victims.

"Russians continue to confirm their reputation as terrorists by attacking civilians," the National Resistance Center stressed.
