Odessa has declared mourning for those killed in a drone attack

Part of a residential high-rise building has been destroyed in Odessa due to a drone strike carried out by the Russian army on the city.

As reported in the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine one of the drones during maneuvers among residential neighborhoods of Odessa hit a 9-storey building of a sleeping area. Part of the entrance of 18 apartments was destroyed.

"A total of 4 people were killed, including 1 child, 8 people were injured, including 1 child. 5 people were rescued. Search operations continue. The state emergency service attracted 95 rescuers and 22 units of equipment", - stated the message.

The head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper said that in the city and region declared mourning.

"In connection with human losses due to the Russian drone attack tomorrow in Odessa and the region declared mourning," he said.

As of 13:00, it is known about four dead, among the victims a child. Eight people were injured, including a child. Five people were rescued.

"Search operations continue. The state emergency service attracted 95 rescuers and 22 units of equipment", - notes the state emergency service and adds that at the scene are also working psychologists and canine calculations.
