Orban confirms meeting with Trump, who "can stop wars"

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has confirmed that he will meet with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump next week.

He said this on March 1 at a diplomatic forum in Antalya, as quoted by Mandiner magazine.

According to Orban, Trump will be a strong US president who will be able to stop the wars between Russia and Ukraine and in the Middle East between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group.

The Hungarian prime minister also repeated his repeatedly voiced theses that he favors a speedy peace in Ukraine because it is needed "in the interests of the whole world," and reminded that Hungarians live in the neighboring state, "many of whom died in the fighting."
