Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Sergiy Kyslytsya said this at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday, May 15, Ukrinform reports. The diplomat reminded that Russia has launched new massive attacks on Ukrainian cities using dozens of Iranian kamikaze drones, cruise missiles, and S-300.

The cities of Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kostiantynivka, and others suffered significant damage to civilian infrastructure and human casualties.

Kyslytsya also emphasized that the Russian occupiers are terrorizing the cities and villages liberated by the Ukrainian Defense Forces with shelling. He noted that terror against the de-occupied territories has become a hallmark of the Russian army.

The Permanent Representative recalled that 23 people, including 6 children, were killed in Uman, where a Russian missile hit a residential building. At the time, the Russian Defense Ministry reported a "direct hit". And in the Chernihiv region, the occupiers killed a 14-year-old boy by shelling the village of Lizunivka. According to him, this is another manifestation of the despicable tactics of the Russian Federation, which the occupiers use against the liberated territories.
