According to the Indian edition of The Economic Times, the delivery will be carried out through the Polish port of Gdansk.

- The Vesuvius vessel will bring 155 mm shells, M4A2 rockets, M82 artillery capsules and PDM fuses. They will be provided by Islamabad-based arms supplier DMI Associates in cooperation with defense companies in Eastern Europe, - the report says.

In return, Pakistan expects to receive Ukraine's assistance in modernizing its Mi-17 helicopters, as well as in repairing a fleet of 320 T-80UD tanks.

Previously, Pakistan did not supply weapons to Kyiv directly, but in August last year, the UK transferred weapons from the Pakistani air base Noor Khan to Ukraine through Romania.

The Economic Times also writes that some of the Pakistani weapons were delivered through Eastern European countries.

Pakistan and Ukraine are long-standing partners in the supply of arms: in 1991-2020, they signed relevant contracts totaling $1.6 billion.
