Korean leader Yun Suk-yol announced the signing of the agreement between Poland and South Korea on Thursday in Warsaw during a joint media briefing with Polish President Andrzej Duda, Ukrinform's own correspondent reports.

"We agreed that South Korea and Poland can be ideal partners in rebuilding Ukraine. I am confident that the agreement on the reconstruction of Ukraine, which was signed today, will be the foundation of joint actions," Yun Suk-yol said.

He also noted that South Korea and Poland condemn Russian aggression against Ukraine, emphasizing that Russia's actions are a violation of the international world order and human rights.

In turn, Duda emphasized the importance of cooperation between Poland and South Korea in the economic and military spheres. He reminded that Poland has purchased modern military equipment from South Korea, including FA-50 fighters, K2 tanks, and K9 self-propelled artillery systems.

He noted that Poland expects not only to buy military equipment from Korea, but also to have it produced in Poland.
