Poland has moved attack helicopters to the border in Podlaskie Voivodeship after a provocation with Belarusian helicopters crossing the border, which official Minsk does not recognize.
This was reported by TVP.
At a briefing by Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak and General Marek Sokolowski, it was announced that Poland had moved combat helicopters from the 1st Air Force Brigade and the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade to the border with Belarus in Podlaskie Voivodeship.
General Sokolowski said that they will be on duty in full readiness mode and will be based in two locations.
"These helicopters are armed and ready for combat," he said, adding that the crews include pilots with experience in missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. "They are very experienced. If something disturbing happens, they will not hesitate to use their weapons," the general said.
