Mar 10, 2023

Poland continues to strengthen its border with Belarus and Russia. In February, the Polish military began installing fortifications on the border with Kaliningrad region, and in March they began strengthening the Belarusian section. The country's National Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said this on Twitter.

"In February the construction of defenses on the border with the Kaliningrad region began. Today the military started building fortifications on the border with Belarus. This is part of our defense and deterrence strategy," Blaszczak wrote and showed pictures.

Judging by the pictures, the border is being reinforced with anti-tank urchins.

Recall, last year, Poland built a fence of 5.5 meters high and 186 kilometers long on the border with Belarus. The reason was a sharp increase in the flow of migrants from the Middle East.
