Poland supports proposal to use western weapons against targets in RF

May 26, 2024

Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has supported the idea of allowing Ukraine to use Western weapons to strike on the territory of the Russian Federation.

In an interview with The Guardian, he said that Europe needs to get better at playing the escalation game to make Russian terrorist Vladimir Putin understand its intentions.

Answering a question about the possibility that Ukraine could attack military targets in Russia, Sikorsky said:

“Russia is already striking Ukraine's power grid, grain terminals, gas storage facilities, and civilian infrastructure. The operation is being conducted from the headquarters in Rostov-on-Don. In addition, Russia does not hesitate to use nuclear weapons.”

He noted that the constant announcement of the red line only forces Moscow to adapt its hostile actions to constantly changing restrictions.
