"Poland has fulfilled everything it declared on tanks, they are in Ukraine, in particular, Leopard," Zelensky said.

He added that there are new agreements on armored personnel carriers, with more than a hundred vehicles to be delivered to Ukraine.

"As for Rosomak armored personnel carriers, 200 vehicles (we will receive - ed.), 100 now and 100 later. Also, self-propelled mortars, additional missiles, MiGs," Zelensky added.

Funds for the purchase of equipment will be provided by the EU and the United States, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Twitter on April 1.

"The Ukrainian army will buy 100 Rosomaks from us, which are manufactured in Siemianowice Śląskie. Rosomak is a top-class armored personnel carrier. The purchase will be paid for by the EU and the US," Moravetsky wrote.

It is known that Rosomak is a licensed copy of the Finnish Patria armored personnel carrier developed in 2001. It weighs 22 tons, has four axles, and can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h on land and 10 km/h on water. It is equipped with a 30-mm Bushmaster II gun, machine gun, or anti-tank missiles, and has a crew of three. It was used in the war in Afghanistan. A total of 670 such armored personnel carriers have been produced so far.

As a reminder, Warsaw recently handed over 60 Polish PT-91 tanks (a modernized version of the T-72) and 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

"Poland was the first country to supply 250 tanks. Now we are ready to send 60 of our modernized PT-91 tanks and 14 Leopard 2 tanks. If we don't want Ukraine to lose, we have to be very open and persistent in our support," said the Polish Prime Minister in late January, when the decision was made.
