Powerful explosions occurred in Berdiansk

Residents of the temporarily occupied city of Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia region, reported hearing five or six explosions, both in the city and on its outskirts. Russian propagandists were quick to assure that it was air defense, but the citizens saw only one missile shoot down.

This was reported by the local Telegram channel Berdiansk Today on Wednesday, July 5. "Berdiansk residents say they saw air defense, but there was only one hit. According to them, there were more missiles," the message says.

The social network reported that a siren was sounding in the port area.

In addition, residents of Novovasylivka say that there were "hits" in their area.

Berdiansk is outside the range of HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems. But for more than a month now, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces received long-range precision missiles, the "cotton" has been regularly visiting the bases of the Russian invaders in the city.
