Prime Ministers of Slovenia and Croatia plan joint visit to Ukraine

The Prime Minister of Slovenia Robert Golob and the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković may visit Kyiv together in the near future.

The Slovenian prime minister told reporters at a joint press conference with his Croatian counterpart on Wednesday following talks, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Plenkovic added that the two countries have very similar views on the situation in Ukraine.

The Croatian prime minister is on a working visit to Slovenia. According to Slovenian media, the focus of the talks in Brdo pri Kranje is on energy, migration, and economic cooperation between the two countries.

In particular, the prime ministers agreed to sign a solidarity agreement on gas supplies.

Slovenia also expressed interest in cooperation to increase the capacity of the liquefied natural gas terminal on the island of Krk in Croatia.
