Putin is not going to stop, he just needs a pause of a few years

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is not going to stop. He wants to stop fighting for a while to recuperate. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, said this on the air of My Ukraine TV channel.

“At this stage of the war, judging by the signs that are available, by the work of the Russian military-industrial complex, by the announced and unannounced goals, and by the accumulation of technical and human resources, we can say that Putin is not interested in peace. He is interested in a pause in order to remove this moment of loss of equipment and human resources, which hinders the buildup of Russian forces. He needs a pause, maybe for a year, maybe for six months, maybe for several years, to accumulate enough strength to adjust his plans. He was never going to stop. For him, Ukraine is a territory, as he sees it, of Russia. People are useless, Ukrainians are useless, except for the servants who can stay to serve the Russian occupiers. Everyone else must be destroyed, expelled... Nothing changes for him. And this must be understood,” Kovalenko said.

At the same time, he added that Putin can only be stopped by tough collective action.

“But here we need to take into account the interests of China as well, the interests of autocracies that have a direct impact on Russia. Accordingly, if we succeed in reaching a diplomatic agreement with them, Russia can be strangled and stopped,” explained the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
