Representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora met with Zaluzhnyi

Representatives of the local Ukrainian community met with the Ambassador of Ukraine, retired General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi at the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain.

“...Together with our Ukrainian organizations and churches, we had the opportunity to meet with the new Ambassador General Valeriy Zaluzhny. The meeting, which lasted two and a half hours, was productive and informative,” the post reads.

The NGO Support Ukraine/London Euromaidan, whose members took part in the meeting, reported that during the meeting with the ambassador, a productive conversation took place on future cooperation and jointly fighting the unprovoked Russian war against Ukraine in any way possible.

The meeting was also attended by a representative of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in the UK, Archpriest of the Cathedral of the Holy Transfiguration of the Lord in London, Bohdan Matviychuk.
