Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin discussed the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive and preparations for a new meeting in the Ramstein format in a telephone conversation.
Reznikov wrote about this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"I had a productive phone conversation with my colleague, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin," the head of the Ukrainian defense ministry said.
He noted that the current situation on the front line and the next steps of the counteroffensive operation were discussed, along with other pressing issues.
"We checked our watches before the next meeting of the Working Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format, which will take place shortly after the NATO Summit in Vilnius," Reznikov said.-
In addition, he said, during the meeting with the Pentagon chief, they discussed new projects related to the supply of various types of ammunition to Ukraine.
