Rheinmetall officially receives an order to build a plant in Ukraine

The German defense concern Rheinmetall has announced that it has received an order from Ukraine for the full technical equipment of an ammunition plant up to commissioning.
This was reported by Rheinmetall.
The construction of the Rheinmetall plant in Ukraine was announced back in February. The work is expected to start soon and be completed within a few years.
Together with its Ukrainian joint venture partner, Rheinmetall will also be responsible for the plant's operation.
The exact value of the deal was not disclosed, with Rheinmetall only indicating that it is worth more than €100 million.
The plant is expected to start producing ammunition within 24 months.
